Smoking is not only permitted, but
encouraged. Been many years since I've seen that much
smoking in a public building. Huge security checkpoint--
metal detectors, guards, xray, etc., but they didn't make
me go through it. Which was fortunate as I was on the
verge of touching cloth. Quite an institutional feel to the
restroom. Emphasized when a trooper came in and just sort of
hung out for a while. Made the turtle freeze in position. But
it swam to the ocean without delay once the menace of law
and order had passed.
